poori kahani

19-20 ka matlab hi hai farak toh hai. But kya farak hai?

Ek print floral hai. Ek stripe hai. Ek ka colour bilkul doosre ke saath jaana hi nahi chahiye. Ek kurta traditional lag raha hai, doosra pura “I woke up and chose chaos.” Aur phir bhi… sab saath mein mast lag raha hai.

Because 19-20 is not here to match. Matchy-matchy karna tha toh hum curtains bana rahe hote.

19-20 is for that very Indian habit of saying “yeh bhi le lo, achha lag raha hai” and somehow ending up with a whole outfit that should make absolutely no sense, but does.

Stripes with florals.
Pink with orange.
Green with pink.
Black with orange.
Old-school jewellery with clothes that look like they have their own Spotify playlist.

Basically, sabka alag agenda hai. But somehow meeting ka outcome accha aa gaya. 19-20 takes things that were never supposed to go together and makes them get along. Not perfectly. Just 19-20.

Maybe your clothes don't need to match.
Maybe your colours don't need to make sense.
Maybe your prints don't need to belong to the same family.
Maybe they just need to vibe.

The brand is rooted in Indian-ness, but not the “please put a gota patti on it and call it contemporary” kind. It's Indian because the references are Indian. It's modern because we don't really follow the rules. It's playful because life is already serious enough. And it's slightly unhinged because, honestly, why should everything be so well-behaved?

19-20 is for people who see a completely unnecessary colour combination and go, “hmmm… but what if?” It's for mixing things that don't match. For wearing things that weren't meant to be worn together. For finding beauty in the almost-right, slightly-wrong, somehow-perfect.

Because that's 19-20.
Not matching.
Not mismatching.
Just… उन्नीस-बीस.
